
Doctoral student Victoria Fields has been awarded a K. Patricia Cross Future Leaders Award from the American Association of Colleges and Universities. The award recognizes graduate students who show exemplary promise as future leaders of higher education and are committed to academic innovation in equity, community engagement, and teaching and learning.
“This year’s recipients truly embody the commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, leadership, and civic engagement that Pat Cross championed throughout her distinguished career,” association president Lynn Pasquerella said. “We are thrilled to honor their achievements, and we look forward to the many ways in which they will shape the future of higher education.”
The American Association of Colleges and Universities is a global membership organization dedicated to advancing the democratic purposes of higher education by promoting equity, innovation, and excellence in liberal education.
