Biography
Isaac Asare Kwakye is a first-year Ph.D. student in rhetoric and political culture whose research focuses on political rhetoric, the history of rhetoric, social movements, and political violence including war, terrorism, and coups d'état, as well as post-race and neoliberalism. Isaac examines how rhetoric shapes political discourse, advocacy, and collective action across African and global contexts. His recent scholarship includes studies of presidential campaigns, anti-colonial rhetoric, and digital activism, building on works presented at major communication conferences. Isaac is committed to advancing research that explores contestations of power, institutional responses, and the effects of media on political processes.
